Egg & Bacon, days work for a chicken, lifetime comitment for a pig

EVER WONDERED HOW YOU GET PHOTOS FROM YOU COMPUTER ONTO THE FORUM WELL HERE IS A STEP BY STEP GUIDE CARE OF HANN. COPY AND PASTE THIS TO WORD AND PRINT IT OFF.

Go to photobucket.com and open an account (it`s free.....)

After you have put the pictures on your PC from your camera, you first need to select the ones you want to use on the message board/web etc,and then resize/crop them - no one wants to view a huge image on their screens that they have to scroll about to see,and it takes longer to load on the screen too.

My camera software gives me the option to resize 75/50/25%,best for web, thumbnail etc.
I suggest an image about 500X400 pixels for insertion into a message like this so it fits easily onto the screen - you may want to put a larger image in your gallery pics for example.

When you save the image to your PC,if you have the option to rename it do so,and give it a name that will be easily "findable" later on when you upload to photobucket. If you are working with a pic of you CX`s wheel for example, your camera software may list the pic as KD343-885,so you rename it something like "CX wheel"...

Now that you have sorted the pic for size, you need to "host" it on the web - photobucket is your image host..

Log in to photobucket and go to "my album",under "upload images and video" click "browse" and find the path to the pic you want to upload("CX wheel").
You can load multiple images by clicking on the "add more images option"

When you find the pic, click on "upload".

Your pic will now be in your album.
Underneath each pic are three address boxes..
To insert the pic into a message on this forum all you do is click on the bottom option - "IMG code",and the address is now copied to your clipboard(a small yellow "copied" box is seen to flash).

In the reply/text box on this forum right click, then paste the copied image address details onto the page - *there is no need to use the IMG tags in the message options box* - photobucket has already done it for you!

Click the "Preview" box to see if your image upload was successful...

You can load as many images as you want into a thread with this, just copy and paste the hosted image address one after the other....

It may sound a bit of a parlarver at first, but when you get used to it you can find a pic on your PC,host it and post it in less than a minute..
